Within walking distance of pubs and shops, this 150-year old stone cottage in Rattray village by Blairgowrie, Perthshire is the perfect retreat.  

 

There’s lots to be explored by foot and within a 30-minute drive.
 

  • Lush glens and leafy country roads
  • Picturesque towns and quaint villages
  • Castles, stately homes and ancient ruins
  • Golfing - at one of many nearby courses
  • Hiking and fishing - by local lochs and rivers
  • Walks - Macbeth’s famed Birnam Woods or famed Cateran Trail
  • Skiing -Glenshee 
  • Great restaurants - sample Scottish cuisine at its best.  

 

And at the end of the day...


There's is no need to drive.  Just walk across the road to the Old Cross Inn for some traditional food and a warm welcome.

In the summer you can relax outside and enjoy Farview garden with a glass of wine and a bbq into "the wee, sma' hours".

The cottage has hosted a range of guests from honeymooners and families to elderly couples and single guests.
