Farview Cottage - or Fairview as it is called in old documents - is so-called after its picturesque garden and view of the Sidlaws. It has the feel of  the countryside and yet is within walking distance of shops, pubs and the River Ericht.

Within walking distance of pubs and shops, this 150-year old stone cottage in Rattray village by Blairgowrie, Perthshire is the perfect retreat.  

The area caters to all ages and tastes. There is much to be explored within 30 minutes derive.

- Lush glens, leafy country roads
- Picturesque towns and quaint villages
- Castles, stately homes and ancient ruins
- Golfing at one of many nearby courses
- Hiking and fishing  by local lochs and rivers
- Walks: Macbeth’s famed Birnam Woods or famed Cateran Trail

There's is no need to drive.  Just walk across the road to the Old Cross Inn for some traditional food and a warm and welcome.

In the summer you can relax outside and enjoy  Farview garden with a glass of wine and a bbq into "the wee, sma' hours".
